Les 29 juin et 14 juillet 2021, dans l’exercice de mes fonctions officielles à titre de ministre des Services publics et de l'Approvisionnement, je me suis récusée des discussions et décisions concernant la stratégie de dépistage de la COVID à la frontière canadienne puisqu’il pouvait y avoir un impact sur OMERS Infrastructure, qui fait l’objet du filtre anti-conflit d’intérêts établi pour assurer ma conformité à la Loi sur les conflits d’intérêts.
Dans le cadre de mes fonctions officielles, je me suis récusée de toute décision ou discussion concernant la nomination d’Edward M. Iacobucci à titre de juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l'Ontario et membre d'office de la Cour d'appel de l'Ontario, afin d’éviter toute occasion de favoriser les intérêts personnels d’un ancien collègue.
